Autoscript A9009-0007 WC-IP Wireless Controller
The WC-IP is built for the person on camera rather than the operator in the gallery. It sits in the palm, and a single forward/reverse joystick with centre bias handles scroll speed in both directions, which is the control a presenter can actually use while looking down the lens. Three story navigation buttons - next story, previous story, top of script - and two programmable function buttons cover the rest, and every button can be enabled, disabled, or reassigned from WinPlus-IP.
Pairing is done in WinPlus-IP against a WB-IP base station, and the link holds over 100m / 300ft, so one receiver covers a large studio. The internal battery runs about 100 hours of continuous use and recharges over standard USB-C; charge state shows on a discreet RGB LED on the control and in WinPlus-IP. The wireless base station is not included.
