Autocue P7017-0001 Explorer Prompting Software

Explorer is the prompting application Autocue ships with its Explorer teleprompters, built to get an operator running without a training day. The layout and icons follow the conventions of everyday office software, scripts can be written in the application or imported from Word, text and PDF files, and changing fonts and colours works the way you would expect it to.

Underneath the familiar surface it carries the functions broadcast prompting software carries: a full script editor, a run order manager, image flip for through-the-lens monitors without their own flip, and a virtual scroll control if no hardware controller is connected. The one deliberate limit is that it will not edit and prompt at the same time, so scripts are changed between takes rather than live; that is the line between Explorer and Autocue's Pioneer application. Sold as a one-year licence or as a lifetime licence.
