Audio-Technica U891RbO Boundary Microphone
The U891RbO is an omnidirectional condenser boundary microphone from Audio-Technica's U891R series, designed to deliver easy, flexible control in conference and boardroom installations where a single tabletop mic needs to pick up every seat rather than favor one direction. A high-output condenser element gives a wide 20 Hz-20 kHz frequency response, with a switchable 80 Hz low-cut filter to trim rumble and HVAC noise.
A local touch-sensitive capacitive switch offers three control modes - touch-on/touch-off, touch-to-talk, and touch-to-mute - and a two-state RGB LED shows the mic's live/mute status at a glance from across the room. A PivotPoint rotating output connector lets the cable exit in whichever direction suits the install, and UniGuard RFI-shielding technology keeps the signal clean near phones, laptops, and other wireless gear in the room. It's phantom powered, matching the rest of the U891R boundary mic family it belongs to.
