Audio-Technica PRO 8HEx
The PRO 8HEx is a hypercardioid dynamic headworn microphone built for clear vocals on a loud stage. The hypercardioid pattern rejects more off-axis sound than a cardioid to maximize gain before feedback around monitors and PA, and a Hi-ENERGY neodymium dynamic element handles high levels with no phantom power, feeding a low-impedance input directly.
A low-visibility headband with cushioned support pads gives energetic performers a stable, comfortable fit, and a pivot-mounted flexible boom descends from the left or right side so the capsule sits right at the mouth. A 7.2-foot (2.2 m) cable is permanently attached and ends in an XLRM-type connector. It ships with an AT8439 clothing clip and both large (AT8139L) and small (AT8139S) windscreens.
