Audio-Technica ATW-3212N Network Handheld System, Less Capsule
The ATW-3212N is the network-enabled 3000 Series handheld system sold with the transmitter grip bare, no capsule threaded on. The industry-standard thread mount takes any of Audio-Technica's interchangeable ATW-C series capsules, letting an integrator standardize on one transmitter body and stock whichever polar pattern or element type a room or event calls for.
The ATW-R3210N receiver's Ethernet jack is what defines the N models: it joins Audio-Technica's Wireless Manager software so a tech can watch battery, RF, and frequency status for a whole bank of channels from one laptop instead of walking the rack. Both receiver and transmitter carry a dual-mode OLED display, and the system covers a 60 MHz tuning range in either the DE2 (470-530 MHz) or EE1 (530-590 MHz) band.
