Audio-Technica AT8491D Drum Mount

The AT8491D is the drum-specific clip mount for Audio-Technica's ATM350a cardioid condenser instrument microphone, built to clamp directly onto a drum's tension rod without interfering with tuning. The spring-loaded jaw grips the rod securely while still letting a drummer adjust head tension normally.

Mounting on the rod itself, rather than a separate stand, keeps the mic close and consistent through a set and out of the way of sticks and cymbals. It is sold as the mount alone; pair it with the ATM350a and a gooseneck, or step up to the AT8492D mounting system that bundles the mount with a 5-inch gooseneck.
