AKG K812 Open-Back Reference Headphones

The K812 is AKG's open-back flagship reference headphone, engineered to reveal every detail of a recording for mixing, mastering, and critical listening. A large 53 mm transducer with a 1.5 Tesla magnet system and a patented two-layer diaphragm delivers wide bandwidth from 5 Hz to 54 kHz with high sensitivity and very low distortion, so the finest transients and spatial cues come through intact.

The open enclosure produces an expansive, natural soundstage, and a real-leather headband with slow-retention foam plus large ear pads keep it comfortable through long reference sessions. It ships with a flat-wire cable and a dedicated headphone stand.
