AJA KONA 5 8K/4K-capable Desktop I/O Card

KONA 5 is a PCIe capture and playback card built for 8K, UltraHD2, 4K, UltraHD, 2K, HD and SD workflows at frame rates up to 50/60p. Four bidirectional 12G-SDI connections each carry 16-channel embedded audio, while an HDMI 2.0 output adds monitoring for 4K, UltraHD, 2K, HD and SD signals with high frame rate support up to 60p.

The card handles RGB 4:4:4 12-bit and YCbCr 4:2:2 10-bit sampling for demanding high frame rate pipelines and connects to the host over an 8-lane PCIe 3.0 interface. Typical power draw is 28W, rising to 35W maximum, supplied through an ATX power connector.
