Aida Imaging HD-100A-VF Varifocal HDMI POV Camera
The HD-100A-VF answers the question every POV install eventually asks: is the shot wide enough, or is it tight enough. Instead of picking a fixed lens and living with it, this version of AIDA's HD-100A carries an attached 2.8 to 12mm varifocal, so the framing is set once at the mount and then left alone. That matters most in the places these cameras end up, on a scoreboard truss or a courtroom rail, where nobody is going back up a ladder to swap glass.
The lens is sealed inside an IP54 shell rated against dust and splashes, and the camera reaches the rack through 3 feet of IP-rated cable, so the vulnerable end of the run is protected too. Video is uncompressed low-latency 1080p over HDMI 1.3a, with 1080i and 720p available, feeding a switcher or a monitor without a codec in the path. A 3.5mm stereo line input embeds audio into the same HDMI cable, and 1/4-20 threads on the top and bottom of the body take a standard tripod or bracket either way up.
