The VCLX 2 charger serves the current block batteries, the VCLX NM2 and the VCLX LI. It connects magnetically, which sounds like a detail until you are docking a heavy block battery in a dark corner of a location, and it saves both time and the storage space a rigid dock would need.

It is fanless, so it is silent on a quiet set. Mains input is 90 to 240 VAC at 50-60 Hz and adapts automatically anywhere in the world. A standard IEC cable is included; the 3-pin XLR cable that links the charger to the battery is ordered separately. Operating range is -20C to +60C.
