Anton Bauer VCLX NM2 600Wh Block Battery

The VCLX NM2 is a free-standing 600Wh NiMH block battery that feeds a whole cart rather than one camera. It puts out 14.4V on two 4-pin XLR connectors and 28V or 48V on a 3-pin XLR, and it will run those outputs simultaneously, which is what makes it the usual answer for high-current lighting and camera packages off the grid.

It pairs with the VCLX 2 charger, whose charge algorithm is among the fastest available for block batteries. Built-in Wi-Fi exposes product ID, learned capacity, cycle count, time-stamped errors and pack condition, either on the battery itself or through Anton Bauer's Fleet Management software, and smart electronic fuses protect each output.
