Yamaha Club Series V Passive Loudspeaker
The Club Series V is the passive half of Yamaha's portable PA line, the box you put on a pole or stack on a sub and drive from a rack amp. Both cabinets are bass-reflex two-way designs with a 2-inch voice-coil compression driver on a 90 x 40 degree horn, so a single pair covers a club floor or a school gym without the phase smear of a wide-vertical horn.
The S112V is the workhorse: a 12-inch cone, 8 ohms nominal, 97 dB sensitivity and 350 W program handling, light enough for one person to fly on a stand. The S215V doubles up to two 15-inch cones at 4 ohms, 1,000 W program and 99 dB sensitivity for larger rooms and outdoor stages where you need the extra headroom. Both take two 1/4-inch phone jacks and two Neutrik Speakon NL4MP connectors, wired in parallel so you can daisy-chain a second cabinet off the first.
