Whirlwind WT1000 Connect Series Chromatic Tuner

The WT1000 is the tuner Whirlwind put in its Connect Series: sensitive and stable enough to settle quickly on a note, without the price of a rack unit. It reads from a 1/4 in. input jack or from its own built-in microphone, so it works for a plugged-in bass and for an acoustic sitting on a stand.

Auto modes cover chromatic, guitar, bass and violin, and there is a manual mode when you want to hold a specific note. Reference pitch adjusts from A=433 to A=447 Hz. An LCD meter and sharp, flat and in-tune LEDs both show the result, a tilt-back stand props it on a desk, and it runs on two AAA cells with auto power off.
