The broadcast industry standardised its multipin wiring on the DT12 configuration, based on the Cannon FK-37 connector, and the WDT12 series is Whirlwind's implementation of it. If you are working into a truck or a stadium tie line, this is the connector that is already there.

Four parts cover the combinations. WDT12CF is the chassis female with sockets and a locking ring, WDT12CM is the chassis male with pins and locking threads, WDT12IF is the inline female with a locking ring and backshell, and WDT12IM is the inline male with locking threads and a backshell.
