Whirlwind THS 2 Talkback Headphone Box

The THS 2 adds the control an announcer actually reaches for during a broadcast: a latching Mic On/Off switch for the segment, and a separate momentary Cough switch for the moment in between. The microphone output is a passive straight-through connection, so the mic remains live on air even if the box loses power.

The chassis is laid out so both buttons stay within easy reach while the announcer is working through paperwork, and the headphone amplifiers are designed to be heard clearly over a full arena without breaking up.
