Wooden Camera Base Plate System for Canon EOS C80

This system pairs an ARCA base plate with an ARCA riser to position the Canon EOS C80 at the height cine accessories expect, and it switches between setups quickly. The riser alone works with the ARCA Shoulder Plate or ARCA Steadicam Plate; the base plate is needed for tripod or dovetail work.

A lens-mount adapter on the riser, with an adjustable rail, moves the strain from the lens mount to the camera body and keeps accessories like an RF-to-PL mount from shifting while lenses are swapped. Side-facing 1/4-20 points keep accessories attached through a setup change, and the base plate can drop its bridge-plate dovetail to mount straight to a studio base plate or safety dovetail.
