A star-cross filter has a fine etched grid that turns any bright highlight, a light bulb, a sun hit, a chrome reflection, into a clean four- or six-point star flare, the classic in-camera look for glamour shots and night exteriors with practicals in frame.

It drops into a standard 4x5.65 inch matte box tray for a production already running drop-in glass in its filter stack.
