TOA A2240CU 240-watt Five-input Mixer/amplifier
The A-2240 CU is a five-input mixer/amplifier built for straightforward installed paging and background music. It takes two balanced microphone inputs on screw terminals, one balanced telephone-paging input, and two unbalanced RCA aux inputs, then delivers 240 watts to a distributed speaker system in a school, factory, house of worship, or transit facility. A paging-priority mute automatically ducks background music the moment an announcement comes in, so pages always come through clearly.
Transformer-isolated 25V, 70V, and 4-ohm outputs land on covered screw terminals for long constant-voltage runs or a low-impedance load, and an aux output on dual RCA jacks feeds a recorder or an external booster amplifier. MIC 1 supplies +21V phantom power for a condenser microphone. Distortion stays under 1% THD, and the amplifier ships ready to rack.
