Teradek Node 5G Q Series Global Modem (No Cable)

For a broadcaster the number that matters is uplink, and that is the whole argument for this modem. LTE gives you 150 Mb/s up on a good day; the Node 5G returns 480 Mb/s in both directions on 5G SA and NSA sub-6, with up to 4x carrier aggregation on the downlink and 2x on the uplink plus MIMO. Bond two or three of them to a Prism and a 4K HDR contribution feed stops being a gamble.

The band list is deliberately broad, covering 5G n1 through n79, worldwide LTE FDD and TDD including band 48, and WCDMA as a last-resort fallback, so the same unit travels. Band 48 support also means it can join a venue's private CBRS network instead of fighting the crowd for public spectrum. Service comes from the Teradek Standard Data embedded SIM or a physical nano (4FF) card, and GNSS is muxed onto the antenna for position data. The milled aluminium body measures 3.6 x 2.2 x 1 in, weighs 3.2 oz, carries three 1/4-20 threaded holes, and draws its 5V from the host over the 5-pin connector. This is the 10-0033-E configuration, supplied without a host cable.
