SWIT S-8i75 Battery

The SWIT S-8i75 is a 60Wh lithium-ion pack that mounts directly to JVC's GY-HM and GY-LS shoulder and handheld camcorders in place of the SSL-JVC75. It carries digital data to the camera, so the exact remaining runtime shows right in the viewfinder instead of a rough three-bar guess, and a 4-level LED gauge on the pack lets a shooter check charge without powering up. On a GY-HM650 it runs the camera roughly six hours with the LCD on.

Beyond the camera contacts, the S-8i75 adds a 5.5/2.1mm pole-tap DC socket and a 5V/1A USB port on the side, so an on-camera LED, monitor, or wireless transmitter can draw from the same pack while the camera records. It is a straight replacement for the JVC SSL-JVC50/JVC75 batteries and fits the GY-HM200, GY-HM250, GY-LS300, and the GY-HM600 series.
