SWIT S-8U93 Battery

The SWIT S-8U93 is an 86Wh lithium-ion pack in Sony's BP-U form factor, a higher-capacity replacement for the BP-U60 that gives shoulder and studio shooters longer runs between swaps. It fits the PMW-EX1, EX3, PMW-F3, PMW-100 and 200, and the PXW-FS5 and FS7, and reports remaining charge to the camera viewfinder over the same digital contacts. A 4-level LED gauge on the housing reads charge at a glance.

The pack adds a 14.4V D-tap output to run a monitor, light, or wireless link off the same battery, plus a 5V/1A USB port for small accessories. On the FS7 the SWIT S-7105 right-angle D-tap connector clears the body. Multiple circuit protections cover overcharge, over-discharge, and short circuit.
