Switchblade LPU4 4U Rackmount vMix Production System

The LPU4 is Switchblade's 4U rackmount live production platform, built around vMix for multi-camera switching, graphics, replay, recording and streaming in one machine. It takes up to 24 channels of 3G-SDI or up to 8 channels of 12G-SDI, records multiple ISO feeds, and puts NDI and SRT in and out alongside the baseband connections, so an IP source and an SDI camera are the same kind of input as far as the switcher is concerned.

The chassis is a short-depth 17-inch 4U, which matters in a shallow flypack rack or a cramped control room, and four removable SSD bays let an operator pull the day's recordings and hand them to an editor without opening the machine. Configurations differ by input count and by whether the bidirectional SDI I/O and instant-replay engine are fitted; the replay-capable 8-In/4-Out build is also available with Switchblade's own RP800 control panel bundled in. The 8x and 12x SDI builds move up to an NVIDIA RTX 4500 Ada GPU, all ship with a vMix 4K licence included, and Switchblade builds custom input configurations on request.
