The Stentor Graduate is a step up from an entry-level student violin, aimed at the progressing student or adult beginner. It is carved from solid tonewoods and finished in an attractive shaded satin varnish, with an ebony fingerboard and pegs and synthetic gut strings for a fuller sound than a beginner steel-string setup.

The outfit includes a lightweight oblong case in a black and grey two-tone finish with safety reflectors, a fitted interior with an accessory pocket and two bow holders, a hygrometer, carrying straps and a case blanket, plus a reliable wood bow with an ebony frog.
