Gator Largo Series Lightweight Violin Case
A student violin spends most of its life being carried by someone who is not thinking about it, which is exactly why the Largo case is built the way it is: an EPS hybrid shell that resists a knock against a door frame without adding the weight of a wood case, and a contour-molded plush-lined nest that cradles the instrument so it cannot shift inside.
Two bow holders sit in the lid, an exterior pocket takes rosin, a shoulder rest and sheet music, and a comfortable shoulder strap makes it easy to walk to a lesson with it. Custom high-quality zippers are the part that usually fails first on a budget case, and Gator specifies heavier ones here. Three sizes cover 1/2, 3/4 and 4/4 violins.
