Sony SRG-XP1 4K POV Camera
The Sony SRG-XP1 is a compact point-of-view camera built for the shots a PTZ dome can't reach: mounted on a podium, rigged to a rail, or tucked into a corner for a wide establishing angle. A 1/1.8-inch Exmor R CMOS sensor with 8.40 effective megapixels feeds a 21mm wide-angle lens with a 102-degree angle of view (85 degrees with distortion correction turned on), and 6x digital zoom, including pixel zoom, gives a bit of reach without moving the camera.
Video runs up to 4K UHD at 59.94p out of HDMI 2.0, Ethernet, or USB 3.0, covering AV integrations, IP production, and direct-to-computer capture from the same box. Upper and lower tripod mounts make it easy to rig right-side-up or inverted depending on the shot, rear panel guards protect the connectors in a busy multi-camera setup, and a large tally lamp shows the rest of the crew when it's live. Available in black or white, with the /N SKUs adding a bundled NDI|HX license for IP productions.
