Sony HZCE-JX50F 4K/HD JPEG XS Software License (HDCE-TX)

HZCE-JX50F is a software option for Sony's HDCE-TX IP camera extension transmitter that adds JPEG XS codec support at both 4K and HD, letting the unit compress video for IP transport with the low latency JPEG XS is built for while still handling 4K sources. That combination matters for a live production that has moved camera extension onto an IP network and needs 4K throughput without the delay a heavier codec would add.

It's a one-time, perpetual purchase applied to the licensed HDCE-TX unit. Sony also offers HZCE-JX50H, an HD-only version of the same JPEG XS option for facilities that don't need 4K support.
