Shure SLXD24D SM58
The SLXD24D/SM58 is a dual-channel handheld system that puts two of the industry-standard SM58 vocal capsules on SLXD2 wireless transmitters, feeding a single SLXD4D two-channel receiver. The SM58 is the cardioid dynamic that has fronted stages for decades: a tailored vocal response with a brightened midrange, a pneumatic shock mount that cuts handling noise, and a built-in spherical pop filter, all in a body that shrugs off abuse. Two mics from one rack space make it a straightforward answer for a pair of presenters, a duet, or a house of worship.
SLX-D delivers both channels as transparent 24-bit digital audio over a stable, predictive-switching RF link, with each transmitter pairing to the receiver over IR scan and sync. Two AA batteries per handheld give up to eight hours of runtime. The system ships with the SLXD4D dual receiver, two SLXD2/SM58 handheld transmitters, two mic clips with brass adapters, four AA batteries, two antennas with bulkhead adapters and BNC cables, the power supply, two zippered bags, rackmount hardware, and a quick-start guide.
