Sennheiser i42TL-L Gooseneck Microphone System
The i42TL-L is a desktop gooseneck microphone system built around the Sennheiser ME 36 super-cardioid/lobar capsule, in the lightring configuration that adds an LED status ring at the base for at-a-glance mute and talk indication. The ME 36 is the most directional head in this family, reaching for the talker and rejecting the room around it, which keeps a single voice intelligible in reverberant or noisy halls.
This version rides on an MZH 3042L gooseneck in an MZTX30L table stand and wires to a 5-pin XLR so the lightring can be driven alongside the audio. The ME 36 capsule runs on 12 to 48V phantom power. The system ships with the ME 36 capsule and windscreen, the MZH 3042L gooseneck, and the MZTX30L table stand.
