Reloop RP-7 Direct-Drive Turntable for 7-inch Records
The RP-7 is built around the 7-inch single. The platter is 215 mm die-cast aluminium rather than the usual 332 mm, and the tonearm is a straight, statically balanced 164.5 mm arm with zero overhang, which is the geometry a 45 wants.
Underneath is a high-torque 8-pole brushless DC motor giving 2.5 kgf/cm starting at 78 RPM, three speeds, and pitch at plus or minus 8, 16 or 35 percent. Signal to noise is better than 75 dB A-weighted and wow and flutter under 0.15 percent. It takes cartridges of 15 to 20 g including headshell.
