RDL D-PSP1F Decora-Style Active Loudspeaker, 2 W Class D
The RDL D-PSP1F is the installer-level version of RDL's Decora-style active loudspeaker, combining a driver, a 2 watt Class D amplifier, and an analog compressor/limiter in a single wall-plate insert. It is the right choice where you need clean local audio at a wall or lectern but want the volume locked to a level you set at install time. Audio arrives on a rear-panel detachable terminal block that accepts either a -10 dBV unbalanced or a +4 dBu balanced signal.
Unlike the user-adjustable D-PSP1, this model places its volume control behind the speaker grill, so end users cannot change the level from the front of the plate. The tuned Class D stage keeps voice and music crisp, the limiter holds back peaks so the speaker sustains a higher average level without clipping, and coverage runs 150 Hz to 20 kHz nominal at up to 81 dB SPL. It runs from a ground-referenced 24 Vdc supply and ships in white, with black, gray, and stainless-steel finishes available.
