RCF P 5228 L

The RCF P 5228-L is a long-throw weatherproof two-way speaker that fronts two 8-inch neodymium woofers with a pair of 1.75-inch voice coil neodymium compression drivers. Its tight 90 by 20 degree pattern is the defining trait: the narrow vertical angle throws sound far down a field or plaza while keeping energy off the sky and nearby structures. It covers 80 to 20,000 Hz and peaks at 131 dB SPL from a 500-watt rating, so it reaches the back of large outdoor venues with level to spare.

The single-piece roto-molded cabinet is fully UV protected to IP55 and fitted with M8 brass inserts and a corrosion-resistant 316P stainless steel U-bracket, so it survives weather and marine air in permanent installs. Amplifier connections land on a watertight Amphenol IP67 4-pole connector, and an aluminum grille protects the drivers.
