Polecam Pancake Rotation Unit for AutoPod and PanaPod

An elevation leg raises and lowers a camera but leaves it pointing wherever it was set. The Pancake is the disc that goes between the leg and the camera and gives that position a rotation axis, so a remote operator can pan the shot as well as move it up and down without anyone walking onto the floor.

It fits AutoPod Plus, AutoPod Ultra and PanaPod elevation units and ships complete with its power supply and cable. The body carries a 4-pin XLR power input and a 4-pin XLR output rated 10 - 18V, so the camera or the next unit in the chain feeds through it rather than needing its own run, plus an RJ45 Rx-Serial port for control and an expansion port. The XLR pinout is printed on the case: pin 1 ground, pin 4 +12V, pins 2 and 3 open.
