Polecam AutoPod Folding Dolly Base

The Folding Dolly Base is the wheeled foot for an AutoPod Plus or PanaPod elevation unit. Once the camera is up and balanced, the whole leg rolls to a new mark on 100 mm castors instead of coming down and going back up, which is the difference between a repositioning move and a rebuild.

The footprint is 800 mm and it stands 120 mm high, so it stays under eyeline and out of a wide shot. At 9 kg it is heavy enough to sit still under load, and it folds for transport. Polecam offers PRT044 cable pushers that clip to the 100 mm castors and sweep cable out of the wheel path as the base moves.
