Porta Brace CBA-PXWX500 Camera Body Armor for Sony PXW-X500

The Camera Body Armor is a custom-fit, 1000-denier water-resistant cordura cover built to the exact shape of the Sony PXW-X500 body. It closes around the camera with hook-and-loop fasteners and a zipper, and cutouts plus a vinyl window keep the controls, indicator lights, and viewfinder reachable while the cover stays on.

In the field, a removable, reversible rain top ships with it, reflective white for direct sun and black for rain, dust, or cold; the back panel expands to take larger batteries and wireless receiver combinations; a padded shoulder strap carries the rig hands-free between setups. The camera can stay in the armor whether it is on or off a tripod, so it is built to be left on for the whole shoot.
