Padcaster Starter Kit

The Starter Kit is the smallest complete Padcaster build: the adjustable anodized aluminum Padcaster Case plus the audio, optics, and support pieces that make tablet video look and sound like it was planned. It is the kit schools, journalists, and small in-house teams buy when they want one box that turns an iPad into a working camera position.

Audio comes from the Padcaster Mini Microphone, a battery-free plug-and-play mic with a thick outdoor windscreen, routed through the Dual Microphone/Headphone Splitter so a mic and headphones can share the tablet's single jack. The Wide Angle Lens widens the tablet's field of view and unscrews into a macro lens for close work, and the Fluid Head Tripod/Monopod carries the rig and pans smoothly.
