NETGEAR AXM763 10GBASE-LRM SFP+ Transceiver Module

The AXM763 exists for one specific problem: a building already has 62.5/125 micron OM1 or OM2 fiber in the walls, and it now has to carry 10 Gigabit. This is a 10GBASE-LRM SFP+ module with an LC duplex face, and on that older multimode plant it holds the link to 220 m (722 ft). Run it on newer OM3 or OM4 and the figure goes to 260 m (853 ft).

It is hot-pluggable into the standard SFP+ cages on NETGEAR's M4300, M5300, M7100 and M7300 managed switches and the Smart and Plus models with SFP+ uplinks, which makes it a straightforward retrofit: new optics at both ends, existing fiber untouched. Covered by NETGEAR's 5-year limited hardware warranty. For a new multimode run, the AXM761 10GBASE-SR module reaches further on OM3 and OM4.
