NETGEAR APM414C 4-Port 10G RJ-45 Interface Card for M4350-16M4V
The M4350-16M4V leaves the factory with an SFP28 uplink card, which is the right answer when the core is fiber and the wrong one when it is a copper patch three racks away. The APM414C is the copper option for that slot: four 10G RJ-45 ports on the same removable card, so the uplink terminates on structured cabling the building already has instead of on optics and patch leads it does not.
Because the uplink lives on a card rather than on the chassis, one switch model covers both cases and the decision can be revisited later. A room that starts on copper and moves to fiber changes a card, not a switch. NETGEAR sells three alternatives for the slot: this copper card, the APM414SD for multimode fiber, and the APM414LD for single-mode.
