NETGEAR GS524UP High-Power PoE+ Unmanaged Switch with 16 PoE++ Ports
The GS524UP is the unmanaged answer to a high-power PoE problem: 24 gigabit ports, of which 16 are Ultra60 PoE++ (802.3bt Type 3, up to 60 W each) and 8 are PoE+ (802.3at, up to 30 W each), all drawing on a single 480 W budget. There is no console, no VLAN, no profile to configure. You rack it, plug things in, and the ports auto-balance so each device takes only the power it needs. For a camera run, a floor of access points, or a set of powered displays that just have to come up and stay up, that is the whole job.
Sixteen ports capable of 60 W is the number that matters here, because it covers the 802.3bt endpoints that a conventional PoE+ switch cannot start: PTZ cameras with pan-tilt motors and heaters, larger touch panels, and multi-radio access points. The chassis is fanless with a metal case that sheds heat by conduction, so it adds no noise to a room and can sit on a desk or go into a rack with the included mounting hardware. Backed by NETGEAR's limited lifetime hardware warranty.
