The Fiber Unite 5 sits at the control-room or truck end of a multi-camera fiber run, taking 5 pairs of 12G SDI in/out along with a LAN connection and combining them into a single 12-channel fiber cable over a Neutrik opticalCON MTP 12 connector. It is the counterpart to the Fiber Dispatch products deployed camera-side, consolidating a control room's outgoing feeds into the one fiber trunk that reaches the stage.

The same 1U-width, 48cm rack-friendly chassis as the rest of Middle Things' fiber line keeps it consistent in a road case, and standard SDI BNC connections on the input side mean it drops into an existing production switcher or camera control unit without an adapter.
