Marantz TURRET
The Turret puts a camera, a microphone, a light and a headphone amp on one weighted base with an articulating arm, which is most of a streaming or podcast rig without a single extra stand. The webcam shoots 1080p at 30 fps with multi-step autofocus, automatic low-light correction, H.264 compression and a 78-degree diagonal field of view. Around it, a 4-inch ring of 30 wide-angle LEDs is daylight-balanced at 5600K and dims from a front knob, with 7000K cool, 3000K warm and diffused-daylight filters supplied to change the light without changing the fixture.
The microphone is a 14 mm back-electret cardioid capsule behind a pop filter, running 16-bit at 32, 44.1 or 48 kHz with 132 dB of maximum SPL and under 12 dBA of self-noise; gain and a mute button sit on the base where a hand can find them. The headphone amplifier covers 20 Hz to 20 kHz at 130 mW RMS with THD under 0.009%, feeding a 3.5 mm jack with level and mix controls so the talent hears their own voice against computer playback with no latency. Everything reaches the computer on a single USB-C cable, and an internal hub adds two USB 3.0 Type-A ports. The arm extends to 33.9 inches wide, the whole thing weighs 7.7 pounds, and it runs on the supplied 12 VDC 1 A adapter.
