Martin VDO Sceptron Pivot Coupler Swiveling rigging coupler

The pivot coupler is part of Martin's VDO Sceptron/Fatron rigging system, the same accessory family as the sliding brackets, parallel and linear couplers, half-couplers and floorstands used to hang or ground-stack a run of video battens. Instead of fixing two adjacent battens at a set angle, the pivot coupler lets the joint swivel, so an installer can set the exact angle on site rather than ordering a fixed curving coupler for a run whose geometry is not known in advance.

Like the rest of the coupler family it is a positioning and jointing part; the battens themselves still need to be supported by sliding brackets or half-coupler clamps along the run.
