Martin VDO Fatron Round Diffuser, 320 mm

The VDO Fatron is the wide-body member of the VDO batten family, and it takes its own fronts: a Sceptron diffuser will not fit it. The Round Diffuser gives the Fatron a curved face that carries light around the sides of the bar, so the fixture holds its glow when it is viewed off axis or wrapped around scenic edges rather than aimed at the audience.

Clear and smoked are both stocked in the 320 mm length; Martin also lists the same pair at 1000 mm as P/N 91611814 and 91611816. Fronts clip onto the fixture by hand, and every VDO Fatron optical accessory uses the same clip, so a bar can move between round, square, NoBlend and lens array fronts as the design changes.
