Marshall Electronics V-4705.0-2MP-VIS-IR 5mm F2.0 IR-Corrected M12 Lens
An ordinary lens focuses visible light and infrared at slightly different distances, which is why a camera set up in daylight goes soft the moment its IR illuminator comes on at night. The V-4705.0-2MP-VIS-IR is corrected across the whole range, 400nm ultraviolet through visible to 1,000nm infrared, so one focus setting holds day and night without a mechanical IR-cut filter.
It is a 5mm F2.0 fixed-focus lens on an M12 mount, resolving to 2 megapixels, with glass optics in an anodized aluminum housing. Marshall builds the 4700 series for security and covert installs, robotics, machine vision, industrial video and automotive camera work, where the camera is set once and left alone.
