Marshall Electronics CV-1670-8MP C-Mount Varifocal Lens

The CV-1670-8MP (C1670-8MP) is a 16 to 70mm varifocal lens for C-mount box cameras that need reach. The long end pulls distant subjects in tight, while the fast f/1.4 aperture keeps the image clean under low light. Its 1/1.7 inch image circle is rated for 8MP 4K/UHD sensors, and the horizontal angle of view runs from about 26 degrees at 16mm to roughly 6.3 degrees at 70mm.

A DC auto-iris connection handles exposure automatically, and the zoom and focus rings each lock so a set framing stays put after the lens is fitted. It focuses down to about 2.6 feet from the front of the lens and threads directly onto Marshall C-mount camera bodies, which are sold without a lens.
