Mackie SRM212 V-Class 12-Inch High-Performance Powered Loudspeaker
SRM212 V-Class is the mid-size box in Mackie's V-Class line: a 12-inch ferrite woofer and a 1.4-inch polymer compression driver crossed at 2 kHz behind 2000 watts peak of Class-D power. It reaches 135 dB peak and holds a 90-by-60-degree pattern, which is the step up bands, mobile DJs and production companies take when a compact PA runs out of headroom but a 15-inch cabinet is more box than the room needs.
The four-channel SRM Mix Control mixer is built in, with two mic/line/instrument channels on XLR/TRS, a stereo 1/8-inch aux, Bluetooth streaming, ten voicing modes, 3-band EQ and up to 100 ms of delay, set from a single knob and colour display. The dual-angle polypropylene cabinet doubles as a floor wedge, carries M10 flypoints, and weighs 40.6 lb.
