Mackie SRT Series Powered Loudspeaker
SRT is the throw-and-go end of Mackie's powered range, aimed at the gig where the speaker gets carried in, put on a pole, and has to work. Each cabinet runs a 1600 W Class-D amplifier with transparent system limiting and protection, and Advanced Impulse DSP handles the acoustic tuning rather than the blunt limiter behaviour that makes cheaper boxes pump and lose bass when pushed.
What separates SRT from a plain powered speaker is SRT Mix Control, a four-channel digital mixer built into the cabinet with Bluetooth streaming, so a duo or a presenter can plug straight into the speaker and skip the mixer entirely. The SRT Connect app for iOS and Android controls up to two speakers at once with access to levels, EQ, meters, configuration, and saveable memory presets. Two SRT cabinets link wirelessly for stereo music playback and appear as one system in the app, with no re-pairing when you switch between them.
