The RW310 carries an SD slot and a microSD slot on a stick barely three inches long, with a USB Type-A end and a USB Type-C end so it plugs into a laptop, a tablet or a phone without an adapter hunt. Transfers run at up to 205 MB/s over USB 3.2 Gen 1, which is enough to clear a shoot's worth of UHS-I cards while the kit is still being packed down.

There is nothing to install: it is plug-and-play with hot-plug support on Mac OS 10.8 and later and Windows back to XP, on any USB 2.0 or newer port. At 0.06 lbs it is the reader that lives in the front pocket of the bag rather than the one left on the edit desk.
