Kramer VS-62H 6x2 4K60 4:2:0 HDMI Automatic Matrix Switcher
The VS-62H routes any of six HDMI sources to either or both of two outputs, reclocking and equalizing the signal along the way so long cable runs don't show up as sparkle or dropout on the display. It handles 4K@60Hz at 4:2:0 chroma subsampling and WUXGA computer graphics at a maximum data rate of 8.91Gbps, and passes through 3D, Deep Color, x.v.Color, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD and 7.1 PCM audio without touching the content. EDID capture reads and stores a display's timing so sources negotiate the right resolution automatically, and non-volatile EDID storage keeps that data through a power cycle.
Switching can run in auto mode - last-connected or priority - on either or both outputs, and a front-panel lock button keeps the routing from being bumped by accident. Control options cover the front panel, an included IR remote, RS-232, Ethernet with embedded web pages, or 12 remote contact-closure switches wired to wall-mounted selector buttons. Kramer Protocol 3000 support lets the switcher drop into a larger automation system, and firmware updates over USB keep it current without opening the chassis.
