Kelvin Grid Light Guide for Play Hero

Most grids buy directionality with output. This one is built the other way around: instead of a single honeycomb sheet laid across the whole face, each lens on the Play Hero gets its own cell, so the light is steered rather than clipped and illuminance stays essentially intact. The result is a beam that lands where it is aimed and stops spilling onto the wall behind the subject.

It attaches with Kelvin's MagTech magnetic system, which also means it stacks: the grid can sit under a diffuser or another modifier from the Play range and both stay in place. At 41.3 g and 1.8 cm deep it adds nothing meaningful to a pocket light that is already meant to live in a jacket, and it packs at 102 g in its box.
