Kelvin Dome Diffuser for Epos 600

A COB head fires forward in a cone, which is the wrong shape for filling a softbox or a parabolic umbrella evenly; the center goes hot and the edges fall off. The Dome Diffuser fixes that by spreading the Epos 600 output into an omnidirectional point, so a modifier lights across its full surface and the result on the subject is one soft, wrapping shadow instead of a bright core with a halo around it.

It is also usable bare when the job calls for a broad ambient source rather than a directional one. The dome is designed to minimize the light lost in the conversion, weighs 97.5 g, and attaches magnetically, so it goes on and off the head without hardware while the fixture is rigged.
